Ingen Jeff Taffe i LHC

Det är tråkigt att ikväll behöva meddela att den amerikanska centern Jeff Taffe inte kommer att representera Linköpings Hockey Club. På grund av privata familjeskäl har Jeff bett om att få bryta sitt avtal med LHC som i sin tur arbetar med att gå honom tillmötes.
– Jag har pratat med Jeff ett flertal gånger den senaste veckan och naturligtvis är det tråkigt att han inte kommer att representera LHC, säger Johan Hemlin.
– Att ändå tvinga hit Jeff skulle inte bli någon bra lösning och han blir kvar i Nordamerika. Arbetet med att hitta en ersättare är i full gång, eftersom att vi har förlorat en del tid.
Jeff såg fram emot att få komma till Europa och Linköping, men händelser inom familjen gör att han inte vill lämna Nordamerika. Se nedan: kommentar från Jeff Taffe.
– I wanted to tell you once again how sorry I am, but at this point I won't be able to come to Sweden for this upcoming season. It was truly a hard decision but for family reasons I feel as if it's best.
– I just want to thank you and the team personally for understanding. Your organization is a class act and I wish you and your players nothing but the best in this season and down the road.
